Denuo advises SFI on sale of 87.5% share in Europlan

Denuo is advising SFI investment holding on the sale of an 87.5% share in Europlan, an auto leasing company, to Alfa-Bank. The parties have signed legally binding documents, and the transaction is expected to close once certain conditions precedent are satisfied. The total value of the shares being sold exceeds RUB55 billion (USD680 million).

Denuo is providing full legal support for the sale, including preparing transaction documents, as well as representing SFI’s interests during the process of the buyer obtaining necessary approvals from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.

The Moscow-based team includes Corporate partner Evgeny Glukhov, senior associate Anna Litovchenko, as well as associates Arseny Tomilin and Anastasia Schors. Denis Gavrilov, partner and Head of Antitrust and Competition, assisted by legal director Karin Ovakimyan and associate Alexander Silakov, provided SFI with legal support while the buyer obtained the necessary approvals from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
