We are pleased to invite you to a seminar titled “Three perspectives on IT transactions: intellectual property, taxes and data protection.”

At our event, we will explain how to “split” rights to certain intangible assets properly and outline the key patterns and approaches used in Russia and globally for these purposes. In addition, we will address restrictions and risks involved in cross-border transfers, and show how to structure the process to ensure that the transaction and subsequent data handling comply with the requirements of each jurisdiction.

Given the potential international context of such transactions, we will examine in detail the most important tax issues that should be considered in connection with these cross-border transactions, as well as concerns raised by tax authorities in various countries, not only at the stage of transferring rights, but also many years later, following the successful monetisation of such intangible assets.

The event will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and online).

We look forward to welcoming you at out event.
