Modern customs approaches and tax control over foreign trade transactions
Russian businesses today are not immune to unprecedented pressure from two fronts: sanctions, which require flexibility and the search for new routes, and the regulator taking a rigorous line to bring the market out of the shadows and ensure transparency in all operations, with every move being scrutinised by the customs and tax authorities. Under these circumstances, any misstep in structuring foreign trade transactions could result in additional charges and entail administrative liability or even criminal prosecution.
Our lawyers will explain how to minimise customs and tax risks when optimising logistics and financial processes, taking into account the recent case law.
A detailed event programme is provided below.
The seminar is moderated by Ruslan Vasutin, Partner, Co-Head of Tax, and Sergey Vasiliev, Legal Director, Co-Head of Customs and Foreign Trade Regulation.
We look forward to seeing you there.
