Julia Naberezhnaya

Julia Naberezhnaya advises clients on comprehensive due diligence, pre-trial settlements of disputes, resolution of tax disputes in court, tax structuring, and other ongoing tax issues. She participates in tax planning projects involving foreign jurisdictions.

Julia participates in projects relating to various client audit activities ranging from assistance in the course of desk/on-site audits (including advice on document drafting, the devising of draft explanations, representation of the client in dealings with controlling authorities) to representation of the client in the course of a pre-trial settlement or in the course of resolving a dispute with tax authorities in court.

Julia possesses a wealth of experience in coordinating projects involving the preparation of transfer pricing reports for major foreign companies, participates in analysing the market, conducting financial analyses of companies, drafting their pricing strategies, etc. She is involved in preparing transfer pricing documents and advising on how to minimise pricing risks for such companies as Inalca, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Juniper Networks, Maersk, Recordati Group and others.

Julia is an active participant in meetings with representatives of competent bodies responsible for transfer pricing control, she assisted in devising a number of draft laws on amending Russian tax legislation. Julia often speaks at various business events on topical legal and tax matters, including at meetings and seminars with the participation of public authorities of diverse levels (tax and customs bodies, the Government of St Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, courts, etc).

Starting from 2018 Julia has been a member of the Mentorship Programme of the St Petersburg University Alumni Association. As a mentor she helps young and talented specialists to achieve the goals they set themselves and develop in the sphere of law.
