Renata Polyakova

Renata Polyakova provides legal consultations to major international and Russian companies on a wide range of legal matters concerning real estate, construction, project financing, activities of self-regulatory organisations, town planning and corporate legislation. Renata focuses on legal support during all stages of investment projects (planning, financing, implementation, etc), including public-private partnership (PPP) projects. She also advises on labour, environmental, and cultural heritage issues.

At the moment, Renata participates in research activities in the field of civil law within a post-graduate programme at St Petersburg University. She also takes part in conferences on civil law matters and is the author of several publications.

  • Renata actively participated in the comprehensive support of major PPP projects on the construction of social infrastructure facilities with the participation of the Government of St Petersburg. The legal support involved assistance and work at all stages of project planning and implementation, including interaction with state authorities, financing institutions, preparation of and support during biddings, development of project documentation from the initial concept to wording of the agreements and all supporting documents
  • Renata is also experienced in advising on investments in the development of greenfield projects in the Russian Federation with the involvement of special state aid for investors, such as tax exemptions and other incentives (special economic areas, industrial parks, special investment contracts and other instruments)
